Short Bio

Yanfu Yan is an assistant professor (ZJU 100 Young Professor) in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Zhejiang University, China. She is also affiliated to Hangzhou High-Tech Zone (Binjiang) Institute of Blockchain and Data Security. Before joining Zhejiang University, Yanfu earned her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from William & Mary 🇺🇸, where she was fortunately advised by Prof. Denys Poshyvanyk. She graduated with her M.S. in computer applied technology from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and her B.E. in software engineering from Xiamen University.

Her research interests lie in software engineering, with a special focus on software evolution and maintenance, artificial intelligence for software engineering (AI4SE), mobile software, repository mining, and trustworthy AI.
